Cube Baler | Making Baler Cooler Than Ever

Checking in at the Cube Baler had me staring for a long time. It’s that feeling when you’re caught between soaking in its cool ambience first or jumping in on the pool right away.

The Cube Baler is the newest holiday address in this famed surf town that will make any chichi traveler weak at the knees. With whitewashed palette set against pops of natural colours, this one’s a real standout, babe.

And if this chic execution is anything but familiar to you, it’s made by the Costa Group. This hallmark local resort chain in Baler also owns Costa Pacifica, Casita de Bahia & 18 on Buton.

CUBE BALER: Cool in Every Corner

The Cube Baler has 80 rooms repurposed from old container vans. Although we’ve seen this kind of upcycling in many other builds, this one’s making a refreshing take with clean white finish.

Each cabin is generously spaced & fitted with modest ensuite amenities. If you’re up for more, they also have a few bigger rooms that offer living spaces & dining nooks. Also, the design elements on the inside are kept simple creating a minimalist & decluttered feel.

While some resorts go for the wild splashes to suggest that sunny beachy look, the Cube Baler leaves its interior colours in pale neutrals. I love the play of muted hues because it pulls off an earthy vibe & reacts to light with beautiful depth.

But if there’s anything so striking about this whole color styling is their use of white paint on stark cold metal cabins. It just feels so airy & clean without appealing to be too sterile. Whites are perpetually classic & lends its hues well even in contemporary designs.

It’s Decidedly Fab!

I just don’t buy the idea that where you stay in Baler doesn’t matter because you’re on the beach all day, anyway. The truth is, it matters — big time!

Baler is the rustic romance of Aurora. But let’s face it, getting there is a 6 hour butt-numbing episode. And wouldn’t it be so lovely to stay in the prettiest place in town after a long, long trip?

The Cube Baler exudes that chic-stoke feel kind of boutique resort. Its pared down, modern aesthetic brings out a refreshing experience of a surf town without overbearing surf imageries.

And oh, it’s not beachfront, if I may pop your imagination. It’s located a few blocks from the swell, sitting pretty behind but where other hotels may not have — quiet indulgence. However, if you’d like to button down more, a hipster spot is just right at the back.

The Cube Baler is also perfect for those who doesn’t want to be on the beach all the time. You can tuck yourself inside the resort. Just wade on the pool with your fave coolers or hang out at the resto over what it also takes pride in — good food!

Baler has levelled up a hundred folds. While some ache on times gone by, others are excited by the springs of development happening everywhere. Yes, it may have changed but this beachside town is still quaint. In fact, its new additions to the wave vibe create more character.

I love everything about Cube Baler. It’s effortlessly stunning complemented by charming service. Whether you’re just cozying down on the pool, feasting at the resto or holing up in your cabin, this spot surely goes beyond bedding you at night.

Come by & try what a magic of a destination CUBE Baler has created for the chic beachbum fandom.
