On this side of Boracay, it’s the wonderful paradox of island living—luxurious but not snobbish, grand but graceful, whitewashed but sprightly, and so gosh-darn chichi. Beachcombers strolling along 7 Stones Boracay Suites just couldn’t help but drown in admiration.
Probably even those who live under the rock would somehow know Boracay. Its awesome beaches & maddening parties are hypes worth believing. The vibe is just differently beautiful, something that keeps you coming back for more.
To say that no one comes to Boracay only once is true. Maybe just like you, I’ve been here many times—renting cheap homestays, snoozing in backpacker hostels, splurging in beachfront hotels, lazing on a sailboat & going home flat-out drunk. Yes, it’s that been-there, done-that kind of thing.
But my recent visit was quite different. This time I stayed in a swanky spot to experience a new kind of preferred hospitality. After all, I deserved indulgence coming from that heart-thumping Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo.
Beautiful Lazy Days at 7 Stones Boracay Suites
7 Stones Boracay Suites is tucked along Bulabog Beach. This upscale & quiet side is home to some of the island’s private villas, sun-decked restobars & uncrowded beach buzzing with ritzy watersports like kite boarding & wind surfing.
I adore whitewashed spots, clean lines & spaces brimming with sunshine. There’s lots of it here & being tossed into my element tells the chills of my kind of holiday. Here, it’s peaceful, very exclusive & secured but still whimsical & welcoming.
What’s striking about 7 Stones Boracay Suites is its full-service apartment style. It is fitted with a living room that opens to a breezy patio, a dining & kitchen area replete with utensils & appliance, a bedroom with a veranda & a restroom with ensuite jacuzzi.
Vacation isn’t only about exploring outdoors. It’s also about having a fabulous bed waiting for you after a day in the sun. I just love how they fling a goodnight assemblage of firm mattress with luxury bedding. And by luxury I mean crisp sheets, a down blanket, an overstuffed duvet & boudoir pillows. Now this is what I call, a sweet island sleep.
To be honest, I don’t want to work while on a holiday. But life (as I bought it) wouldn’t just let me be a carefree gypsy. Good thing, this inescapable truth was made light by having bright working spaces, roomed-in services & a decent WIFI.
But there’s more to this boutique resort than just having refined accommodations. I’m also excited to let you in on a little island secret that is close to my heart—–errr…tummy!
7th Note Café & Deli dishes up chilled tunes & luscious food. I like how it feels that they do not have a dizzying menu—just what’s fresh that day whipped up with some tropical exotics. Of course, all these are on top of the restaurant’s mainstays like the intercontinental fare we’ve grown (big) with, just made even better. If you’re on a gluten-free diet, you’ll adore this place.
I used to love sunsets at the White Beach. But tourists of epic proportions have overtaken this spot somehow losing its tranquility. But at the resort’s Beach Bar, Boracay’s charm is pretty much like what it was before it became a Disney of sorts. Here, I got to enjoy my Espresso Martini, sans the throngs of tourists in face-kinis.
7 Stones Boracay Suites is an all-inclusive boutique resort. They take charge of everything from en-suite services to whatever tickles your outdoor fancies. Pampering is what they do best. The staff’s islander charm, the sense of place & affable service, all together create the grip of Boracay from the comforts of a luxury resort.
Where you stay is as essential to what you plan to do. This time, I just like it to be a lazy holiday surrounded by the finest of things. To escape to a place that offers new memories of an island riddled many times over in anyone’s Boracay journal. To indulge on barefoot-luxe, in a 5-star comfort but at a 4-star price.
